Working on HeartThreads was my first real job as a video journalist and while I’ve grown leaps and bounds as a video producer and journalist since then, I’m proud of the formative work I put in during this time.

 What started as social videos re-versioned from broadcast news kickers…

…evolved into these mini-documentaries featuring heartwarming and inspiring stories of individuals leaving a positive impact on others.

Through this work I learned the ground rules of in-the-field and in-studio film production, and was given leeway to experiment with post-production techniques like motion graphics and color correction.
